How much do I get paid from iTunes?

Apple iTunes Store takes 30 %of the sales which leaves you with 70 %. You will earn an average of $7.00 for each album sold or 70 cents for each song purchased. If you don't have a full album, simply multiply the number of songs you have by the track price and the result is what you will earn. Labeltune Artists and Labels maintain 90 % of all Royalties.

How and when do I get paid ?

Login to the website, view your sales and withdraw money easily to your PayPal account by pressing the withdraw button.

Note:If you have less than $20in your account for a given region, it costs 2.99USD for a withdrawal. Any questions regarding payment can be sent to payments@labeltune.com

How much does it cost to upload an album or single?

It costs only $ 14.99 one-time charge to upload your album ($ 6.99 for a single). That’s all! No hidden fees, no weird fees nor any fees per songs or per country store. Let’s put it this way, no surprises!

How much does it cost to keep my songs live at iTunes?

In order to retain your album / Single live on iTunes, a fee of $ 15 per year is charged.

How do you charge the annual fee?

The first annual live fee will be deducted from your royalty account on the day you make your first upload. After that, it will be deducted from your earned royalty on the first January (01 January) of every year.

The annual live fee is always in advance one year starting from the 1st day you upload your first album or song. Let´s say you uploaded an album on 20 May 2008, this will grant your album "live" until 20 May 2009.

What wil happen if I dont earn any money ?

The annual fee will still be reflected on your account. But if you don't earn any money, you don't need to pay anything until you start making money. We will NOT charge you if you are not making any! Isn't it lovely?

I have sold some songs but it does not show up in the sales system?

Sales are not real time; sales are always delayed by one month, meaning that if you have sold an album in October, you will not see that in your sales until next month, November. Monthly reports in the sales and statistics section are always free. You can request daily and weekly (excel or pdf) reports for a fee of $ 0.99 if you like.

I did not receive any log in details. How do I log in ?

You will receive your account info by email sent out automatically when your songs are live on iTunes store. It happens normally within 14 days.

Do I have to live in the US to sell my music ?

No. You can live wherever you want .

Do I have to submit a full album?

No, you don't have to submit a full album. You can submit just a song if you like. Try to keep it between 1 and 25 songs. The maximum number of songs is determined by the total time, 74 minutes maximum.

I have a CD. How do I do ?

If you have a CD of your songs, you can use iTunes convert your audio files to wav, AAC (mp4) or mp3.

Which audio format should I use?

To upload your music to labeltune, we need your songs in any of these formats and kbps:

• m4a, mp4, aac, minimum 192kbps
• mp3, minimum 256kbps
• wav- 16 bit or 24 bit
• aiff- 16 bit or 24 bit

Album artwork dimensions and formats?

Artwork dimensions : 600x600 and can NOT be larger or smaller.

Allowed file formats : jpg, jpeg, gif, bmp, png

How long can a song be?

The length of a song can be as much as a standard audio CD can hold: about 74 minutes.

What should I know about UPC and ISRC numbers?

Nothing. We fix this for you. So if you don't have one, we will make one for you. We are offering this service for free of charge.

But I already have my own codes. How?

Just enter it when you submitt your content and it will be used.

I bought a multi-package upload, can I keep them for later use or do I have to use them straight away ?

You don't have to use your album / single uploads straight away. You can keep them for future uploads if you like.

• Check that you web browser has java activated.
